Intention #1: Mindful

I lead a spiritual life, a life of Yoga and awareness.

The impact of my life is a direct reflection of my inner state of being; my life is the ultimate expression of who I really am. Creating myself is the most creative act that I will ever undertake. Mindfulness and awareness help and support my inner state of being. I actualize my purpose and my intentions by focusing on my mindfulness practice which leads to personal transformation and deeper and more meaningful impact.

Shamanism

Principle

  • I engage with and act like my power animals ‘Fire’ (the wolf), ’Eagle Eye’ (the eagle) and ‘Flipper’ (the dolphin) – on and off the mat.

Current Practice

  • I engage my power animals by asking them for help.
  • I act like my power animals: I soar, observe and view like Eagle Eye; I am alive and on fire like Fire; I am playful and joyous like Flipper.
  • I am as strong as the redwood tree: deeply rooted in Mother Earth, swaying in the wind, stretching for and connecting to the sky.
  • I am a mountain person: I get re-energized by mountain activities like skiing, ski touring, mountaineering, hiking and mountain biking.

Long Term Opportunities

  • My path of shamanism continues to deepen until I die.
  • Experience nature more intimately and more intensely.

Awareness

Principles

  • I cultivate deeper awareness by practicing intentionality, gratitude, equanimity, compassion, humility and detachment from outcomes.
  • I trust the infinite wisdom and compassion of the universe and ask for help and guidance – selfless and in all humbleness.

Current Practice

  • I use beach walks, redwood walks and activities like washing dishes to cultivate awareness.
  • I am actively cultivating inner peace, serenity, a quiet confidence, and a more grateful and joyful way of living.
  • I articulate my beliefs and perceptions about myself that I want to change, together with what I want them to be; I then surrender these beliefs to the universe, and let my sub-consciousness together with the universe co-create my new self.

Long Term Opportunities

  • My path of awareness continues to deepen until I die.
  • Fully wake up from illusion that I am somehow separate from the universe.
  • Integrate unforeseen opportunities and becoming more playful and improvisational.
